I have been a closet greenie for a while much preferring
sail to power options. But Graham has changed my mind in
some respects. Graham has designed 3 different power boats
that all fulfill a different niche yet retain above average
fuel economy. Each uses smaller power plants than one would
typically expect due to taking advantage of high quality
Marine Ply and cold moldings for stiffer, stronger and
lighter hulls. In addition some of the boats feature hull
form tweaks to optimize economy.
In addition to providing better fuel economy on the water
than you would expect in similar craft they are all fairly
lightweight craft. Easily hauled home on a trailer behind
smaller vehicles allows you to be greener (or more
economical) in your tow vehicle options as well.
Less money spent on gas and towing means more money to
spend on other boating related toys. Whats not to like with
that??
