The Core Sound 20 The Core Sound 20 Click image for more pictures at B&B Yacht Designs Image © Graham Byrnes. The biggest of the Core Sound series is the Core Sound 20. It is also the one with the most speed potential. It is perhaps the best choice for taller individuals over 6 ft in height if intending to camp cruise, as it has the best length of sleeping space. It also offers excellent leg room and seat back height for comfort during long sails. While it seems quite large when compared side by side with either the 15 or the 17, it is quite manageable even single handed and poses no undue concern even as the wind pipes up. My personal sailboat is a 20 . It is my wife's favorite of the series. Specifications:
